The Three Threads tasting notes
The Three Threads by Anspach & Hobday is a historical recreation of the earliest known recipe from Porter. Porter beer was originally a recipe where three threads were each taken from three mashes coming from one grain bill, and then blended together. Aromas and taste are typical from a Porter, with roasted malts, coffee, cacao and some dark fruit notes and a sweet and not very alcoholic mouthfeel.
