North Brewing is a British brewery founded in 2015 by John Gyngell and Christian Townsley. Both were previous owners of North Bar in Leeds, which was branded as “the first craft beer bar in the UK”, so their factory and taproom is a continuation of what they were doing so far. His bar was the center of the British craft beer scene in the 2000's, hosting Brookling Brewery launch in UK, or drafting the first Sierra Nevada in the country. The name of the bar comes from the old North gate of the city.

On 2015, they released their first reference, Transmission IPA, and from then on they have became one of the most awarded British breweries.
