Purpur from Brekeriet is a Session Sour Ale fermented 10 months in oak barrels and then blended with blackcurrants and cherries. Aroma is sour, with lots of cherry and blackcurrant notes and some wood and yeasty hints. Taste is fruity and sour, with berries and cherries on top, notes of lemon, and wood and a dry and light finish with moderate sourness.
