Chimay Blue is a Belgian Strong Ale with a very dark appearance and full of complex aromas, with hints of coffee, dried fruits, hops, caramel, sugar and spices. In palate it has yeast in the foreground, with raisins, plum, date, chocolate, caramel and a slight alcoholic touch.

Belgian Strong Ale is a style that comprises from pale to bitter beers, with stronger yeast character than malt flavours, and higher alcohol than standard Belgian Ales. Colors tend to be light, and flavours smooth with some fruity and spicy notes.
