Rochefort 6 was the first beer brewed by Rochefort Trappist. It has a reddish appearance, with a very fruity aroma and some floral hints. Taste has dried fruits, yeast, caramel and some alcohol. Finish is slightly bitter. This is the most easy drinkable of the three Rochefort beers, and the most approchable for the ones starting with Trappist beers.
Belgian Strong Ale is a style that comprises from pale to bitter beers, with stronger yeast character than malt flavours, and higher alcohol than standard Belgian Ales. Colors tend to be light, and flavours smooth with some fruity and spicy notes.
